Today is a long-awaited show with none other than Bryan Johnson, an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, author, and professional rejuvenation athlete on a mission to discover the next evolution of humankind. While Bryan is well known in the longevity space, I’ve been a fan of his work for years because of his neuroscience background.

Bryan started a company called Kernel, which makes devices that monitor and record brain activity. Kernel uses what I would call the most comprehensive way of looking at the human brain ever. He is the founder of OS Fund and Braintree, and he spearheads Project Blueprint, an anti-aging experiment where he’s spent multiple years and millions of dollars developing an algorithm to live longer.

Dave's questioning presents as him deliberately trying to make Bryan uncomfortable and trying to be superior. I think Bryan handled the questions well though.

My sister is a huge fan of yours. I gave you a shot through 5 podcasts and just stumbled across this video.

I’ve been listening to Brian for a while now, and he truly views his data in an unbiased manner which is completely opposite of the way you do it seems.

Perhaps dialing down your ego could lead down a better path and even allow you to grow internally in a healthier manner.

During this video it’s evident that you already have new questions and/or your own version of the answers to the questions you just asked your guest at the forefront of your mind while he’s responding…

Listening a little more would be nice.

This interview was extremely hard to watch with Dave. He is not a tactful interviewer and watching him “subtlety” try to show Bryan that he’s either the same or better than him was painful. The little jabs weren’t great either. If he stops fidgeting in this chair and actual asks thought provoking questions, then maybe it would’ve been a better interview. Maybe try to put your guests on a pedestal and not try to compare yourself with them in the interview would work out better. Bryan handled it like a professional.

Love Bryan's response to Dave's question on keeping the critics from getting him old. After a couple of seconds of deep thought Bryan reponds: "The response is algoritmic. It's mathematically predictable" 😄

When Dave interrupted Bryan to swallow pills..that’s was textbook narcissism…. Bryan trolled him masterfully and said:“ That’s the weirdest flex! HA HA HA HAAA!!! “

Not sure I understand the questioning from Dave. Seems passive aggressive, or like he’s testing to see how far he can go in trying to make his guest uncomfortable. He’s more interested in his psyche than his research.

Dave when you interview someone, they should be doing most of the talking.

That was very awkwad "interview" by Dave- third of the time he likes to show that he also doing it like Bryan "eating 150 pills (oh whoops I have one pack just in my pocket to show you how much I can swallow), eating green sludge / measuring age of every organ and markers etc.". Second third of the whole podcast, he instead of asking thought provoking questions (you dont eat animal product, I adore them - lets discuss about differences) is just trying to insult Bryan or make him uncomfortable (like in his speach about oxalates when he, by design, name all the main sources that Bryan eat to shock him). And the last third he just trying to prove his superiority over him, or is creepy just in general (do you have girldfriend? what car you drive? do you ejaculate? do you like And all of that, by being very familiar what Bryan do, studying his exact protocols and behaviours and also admiring him in disguise (on one hand and be jealous on the other hand). Bryan keep stoic, but activate his hyper droid protocol becoming almost unhuman. Both of them by that create one of a kind spectacular show, especially for someone with background in psychology and psychopathology. Bravo! :D Does any one share this opinion about podcast?
