Made a similar set up for my Trangia stoves and it works great. Looks like Alocs got the message ; the clearance from the jets to the bottom of the cook pot, has to be an inch to 1 1/4 inches, for an effective alcohol stove pot stand kit. Tons of 'kit' out there, which tries to defy physics of combustion & heat transfer (often at much higher prices). Just how well will a small cookpot (i.e. Stanley tall cup or G.I. canteen cup) sit on those "clips' ? Looks like making those folding arms assume a smaller diameter, would risk losing stability, by uneven folding, more than you'd want after use.

Hi I’ve got one of those stoves. In the uk 🇬🇧 we use methylated spirit which is great and cheap.

I've made the pop can stoves but have 2 ALCOS stoves, great for a day hike (mine do not have  this pot stand)heat up fast and with the cap holds the fuel inside plus you can bring extra, one thing, the snuffer cap can be side open for simmering besides being closed to put the flame out....go review, thanks

Is the stove itself brass or what material? I went to there website and all it says is Material: Stainless steel, Aluminum, Copper.
