It is SsangYong's first new model under Mahindra & Mahindra ownership. The car known as after the Italian area of Tivoli, Lazio, and was chosen given it can be read as "I love it" backwards. The Tivoli is at testing and development with the three years just before its announcement in November 2014 and was revealed in concept with all the project name X100. It was launched in South Korea in January 2015. The Tivoli emerged with a selection of petrol or diesel 1.6-liter engines which is available in two or four-wheel drive. It is equipped which has a six-speed manual or AISIN automatic gearbox, which SsangYong claims is just as quick and efficient as being a dual-clutch setup.
