SsangYong Tivoli Review: 10 things you need to know

A Korean hopeful called SsangYong has had a go at making a small crossover, called the Tivoli. So we've put it against a couple of the most popular ones to see how it fares, in a competition we've called 'The X-Factor'. That's 'X' as in 'cross'. No correlation to anything else whatsoever.

Having owned 5 different model Ssangyongs now, I feel I am qualified to say that these are bloody great value cars. They have really lifted their game with styling and the quality of engineering is first class. Yeah the interiors can be a tad agricultural but hey, they don't break :)

We just ordered the top model, its fully kitted out and much cheaper than a Honda, Nissan, etc plus a 5 year warranty you can't complain.

I had a test drive in an identical ELX with an auto box and I thought is was dreadful.. Oh and it's and 80's own brand hifi from Euronics, it's so cheap and nasty it makes Curry's look like a Linn.. All that said, love the reviews, always good for a laugh..

That should be cross as in rubbish presenter! X factor rejects are better. Please do it right, not top gear style.
