for freeze team, i used to use mona with ayaka for a long time because of her hydro application + buff . but after getting kokomi, i started using her instead of mona . i just love how almost any hydro character works well with ayaka

Monas dmg bonus is so good. She can work everywhere. Even in Geo teams.

Fun fact: Mona e applies 2 units of hydro per tick. But her c1 passive for freeze doesn't actually work even after they said they fixed it 8 months ago

Doesn’t matter if I need her, I have c4 Jean and Qiqi and C2 Diluc and Keqing plus C1 Tighnari and no Mona.. For some reason she’s also my favorite character.

I feel like this comparison is a little weird bcs Ayaka is optimized for freeze, where the difference is noticed more in hydro application than just damage buffs

What makes mona's dmg buff so good is not only the fact that it's so big, it's also the fact that you don't even need to have a specific stat for it. the dmg buff is by default and you don't even need er (she scales off of that mostly). So if u use her as a support u can just slap some random artifacts on her and she still gives a massive dmg boost 😂😂

For freeze, Mona can buff your characters with her burst for so much more damage. Not only that, she can use thrillling and tenacity too for max potential of damage. Her hydro application is also really good too. You are playing reverse melt. It damage can be really good, BUTTT for only single target my man. Using it in spiral abyss when there are many mobs is not a good idea....
