The cherry on top is not only got he killed off but the episode in which he is killed, is not available for streaming anymore and can only be found in early dvd releases or on illegal streaming sites. This means there is probably a significant portion of viewers who don't even know he got killed.

My partner's mother didn't let him watch South Park when he was young, so I was watching it with him when we were about 19. His Mum saw this episode and found it hilarious. We are British and she is an English Major and History buff, so having Malcolm McDowell from a Clockwork Orange introducing us to an incredibly bastardised version of Great Expectations with a stupid ending was fucking hysterical to her, especially as she'd never given the show a chance. This episode has earned a place in my heart for that.

I actually liked Pip's episode. While I do like Butters and Kenny a lot more, and a few other characters, I never had an issue with Pip. I felt bad for him when he was killed off in the 200th episode special.

In my family we always reference Pip’s episode because while watching it my mother laughed and said “I know exactly where the writers’ stopped reading Great Expectations.” My sister immediately responded “To be fair, that’s where I stopped reading too.” We now use the phrase “That’s when the robot monkeys showed up” to indicated we lost interest or aren’t paying attention.

This was one of my favorite episodes. Pip was the Butters before Butters. I really loved his character. And missed him after he died.

I'm sorry, but the worst episode is definitively "Jakovasaurs". That's just a fact!

I honestly liked this episode...I liked Pip, and I liked the creator's version of Great Expectations. I personally hated that he was killed off because I feel there was some potential with the character on a cultural aspect, but I understand the decision to focus on other characters (like Butters or Tweak).
