World, now fighting with a new virus called as corona. The virus crossed the towns, states and countries from its origin.
Generally viruses are transfer from one person to another person by physical contact and through oral routes.
Recently, at a press conference Israel prime minster Benjamin Netanyahu suggested their people to adopt “Indian Namaste” , instead of Handshake.
If we all avoid Handshake, we decrease the risk of getting virus infections to one person to another person.
So we all need a new shaking hands instead of Handshake. I mean now every one looking for new formal gesture to greet others and to negotiate with others. Not only Israel prime minster so many political leaders suggesting Indian Namasthe or Namaskar.

The word Namaste is a Sanskrit word. Namaste is widely used in some Asian countries, mainly in India from ancient times. In some regions of India people also use word Namakar and pranamam for same gesture.
Meaning.
In the word Namaste, Namas means i bow, adoration or obeisance.
And te means “to you”.
Simply meaning of Namaste is “I bow to you.
How to do Namaste?
Some people say Namaste, without using the gesture also.
But this gesture popularly known in world wide. When saying namaste, We join both hands near the heart and slightly bend towards the person we met. Here folding ours two hands represents that, “May be We all looking differ in physical appearence or social status, but the inner soul in us is same.”
In Hinduism religiously the meaning of Namaste means “I bow to divine in you.”
The gesture Namaste or Namaskar not only used for social meetings, Hindus also use Namaste at the time of praying to God. So Namaste is also a holy gesture.
And namaste also used to respect gurus or teachers, elders.
In yoga we call namaste symbol as anjali mudra.
Anjali mudra used in different yoga postures because when we doing asanas anjali mudra help us to keep balance and stability and also pressing our two palms together increases the flexibility in hands, fingers and at wrist.
Anjali mudra increase focus and concentration when doing meditation and prayer, and create some impact on our nerve system because of pressing our finger tips.
according to Sanskrit meaning of anjali is devine giving.
Difference between Namaste and pranamam.
Now a days everyone thinking that pranamam and Namaste are same. but their is a slight difference between them.
Pranamam is more respectable word. Generally we all use Namaste to respect our guests, colleagues, and others. But Pranamam is used to respect gurus or teachers, elders and the divine lord.
