Buying frenzy hits stores amid coronavirus outbreak

Bay Area customes worried about the coronavirus outbreak descended stores, waiting hours in line as they stocked up on supplies such as frozen food, meats, toilet paper, bread and other goods at places such as Costco and Safeway.

Sorry, but this wasn't my experience. Sure there was a line, and some supplies were out, but looked to me that overall folks were respectful and got what they needed.
Unfortunate that the Mercury News is exaggerating and "speeding up" the video to give a sense of panic. This is NOT a service to the public in these difficult times!
