4:11 Honestly thought I was the only one feeling the way you felt about medicine as a 3rd year. I have also had quite a few epiphanies in these past few weeks and really felt that I wasn't cut out for medicine and I might regret this decision. I guess it's comforting to hear that there are students who go through this! I really enjoyed this video and that last part about working as a junior doctor, makes me feel more assured that this is a journey I should continue on and see where it takes me.

Great video, you were so well articulated I forgot it was unscripted until you mentioned it at the end :)

Is getting into dermatology harder? I mean into the ACD training program. Also, is dermatology is in demand or there is shortage of workforce in Australia?
What your view?

you talked about what I was thinking of as a fresh graduate doctor who had spent all past years sceptical and confused about what to do after med school, leaving medicine or a part-time job or even going into GP training? (although I must pass UK's plab exams first as an IMG doctor). I think I'll give it a last try as a junior doctor. keep going. I find your videos insightful.

How many hours do you study a week as a 5th year? And has this increased or decreased since earlier years when you had less placement?
