Its great for the streets. Going through curves and roundabouts in my gr86 is a lot of fun.

I have a 86 GTS coming next month (super excited). Of course the BRZ / 86 is not a super fast car, never was designed to be although Toyota is quite notorious for branding cars like this as fast track cars. For the average every day drive though these are perfect.

I’ve come from a 2021 Mitsubishi Pajero into my 10th Anniversary BRZ. Anything feels quicker. Can’t wait to see what exhaust you choose as it’s probably the only mod I’ll do until warranty expires.

I liked the intro haha. Can’t wait to hear an exhaust on this thing!

Youve already turned off the fake engine noise right? Can you hear the engine when you have your music up?

Great vid! Are you still going to be using meguiars wash and wax over the ceramic coat for cleaning?

hey bro, I've been looking at S15s lately to see if I can get any second hand. I found an S15 for 55, 000AUD 105, 000kms. It already has an intake, zzr coilovers and a vertex bodykit. It also has a ARC sump and comes with a blitz nur spec exahust. It's from a genuine motor company, you think I should consider it after I go in person and have a look? Tbh it's either this or a brand new BRZ. I kinda moved away from the wrx (it dropped price from 29, 990 to 25, 000 at the same 58, 060 km) even though I would love to have one, it's still there if I want it but I just feel like I may run into potentially bad issues as a beginner I may not be able to fix. I also want a car for the long run cause all petrol cars production is stopping after 2026. So I'm in a predicament of whether I want a newer car that may last me longer or get one of my JDM favs.

Fast enough to lose control with traction control 😅. As it gets close to the redline it's not uncommon to lose traction even with the PS4 tires.

Ok it’s reasonably fast. But I sold my 2017 Toyota 86 and forked out the extra 20k for my new 2023 GTS GR86. Had to order before I knew the final specs. New upgraded motor is great but I no longer have any storage space, no satellite navigation and no spare wheel. Oh and I got the manual so missed out on some very key safety features only found in the automatic. I drive in rural areas all the time with no phone coverage so apple car play maps is useless to me. Found myself buying a map book for the first time in about 15 years and have to consider buying an aftermarket head unit for navigation. Really shocked by the downgrades in functionality Toyota. Would have bought the BRZ had I known.

No, it is not fast. I alternate between my 2023 BRZ and my parents old 2012 Camry Hybrid. They have almost identical performance.

Is it fast? No, no its not fast. Its not even kind of fast, its atrociously slow unless you compare it to a wounded 60 year old, trying to jog with a backpack full of bricks.

Im sure it can be a fun car for whipping around turns, but no it isn't fast... lol
