I like walking to Chinatown and getting some noodles that can be as cheap as $5.00 a bowl. It is also a 5 minute walk.

You should do a video on popular attractions/museums that aren’t on the mall (or aren’t free). Like Ford’s Theatre, Holocaust Museum, Newseum, etc. I live in the Frederick MD area, and have visited DC all of my life! Love your videos, I always learn something new.

The Sculpture Garden looks like pretty healthy food, and it seems you can order online ahead of time if necessary. I think we will try this when we go. Thanks for posting.

We were. walking by the Capitol and Supreme Court and asked a local where there was food? She told us to go to the Union Station right next to the Supreme Court. This has 3 floors and has a food court filled with quick food options several coffee places, a few sit down restaurants and a McDonalds tucked away in the train station area. All these food options are past the front entrance foyer . There is also a metro stop right there in front on the left side next to the Post Office museum. It is the Capitol South stop. We went here twice after spending a fortune at Five Guys a mile northeast of the White House. That lady saved us!!

There's also a great cafeteria at the National Gallery of Art and a nice food court at the Ronald Reagan building

After you have your tour of the Capitol, perhaps you might want to walk to the Rayburn Building cafeteria where you will most likely be eating with congressional staffers.

Great info! Technical note though, you may want to offset your lighting. The way it reflects off of your eyes is a bit unnerving.

L’Enfant Plaza for sure during the week. Over 15 restaurants and an exit from the metro makes it awesome place to stop.

I see I'll have to get past my prejudice toward "roach coaches." Have had seriously bad experiences in other cities, tho' they are usually very good back home in AK.
