Explanation is good,
Vitamin K deficiency causes Hemorrhagic disease of the Newborn, not Haemolytic disease. Both are different diseases.
Vitamin K deficiency bleeding is Haemorrhagic not Haemolytic,

Plants use K1 for photosynthesis, which is why it always comes with the green parts.

It's not at all clear if the body can use K1 without stripping off the side chain and converting to K2. This goes though K3 in the process (which has no side chain). A lot of K3 is poisonous which is why it is not used in vitamin pills. K1 is used by medicine because it's cheap to make.

The body makes K2 from K1 by stripping off the side chain and putting on another, and the K2 produced always has 4 isoprenes (MK-4). It's done in blood vessel walls, not always bacteria. K2 Mk4 definitely can be used to make gla proteins and clotting and osteocalcin and matrix protein. It's not clear if k1 is a provitamin for K2 or can be used without conversion. In any case you don't need K1.

Bacteria in natto and in the small and large bowel can make at K2 which is MK-4 up to MK-9. MK-7 from natto is often sold. It dissolves in fat and lasts a long time. These vitamin Ks are used by bacteria for the own anaerobic metabolism. I suspect that like K1 they are provitamins and also converted to MK-4 before your body can use it them. All these steps require removal of side chain and sticking on a proper geronyl-geronyl group (4 isoprenes) to get K2 MK4.

The name Vitamin K from koagulation doesnt stem from german, it stems from the danish word: Koagulering / koagulation. The man who identified vitamin K was the danish chemist Henrik Dam, in 1929.
