Voyager Spacecraft's Shocking New Discovery In Space.
Some of the most incredible discoveries in human history have been found by the two Voyager spacecrafts. Even though they were launched over 40 years ago they are still collecting data while flying through space at approximately 38,000 miles per hour or 17 kilometers per second.

The spacecraft have explored Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. At each of these stops, they have sent back detailed and stunning views of the strange worlds they’ve come across. They have revealed ice-covered moons, deep space volcanoes, and even water located millions of miles away from Earth. So what are some of the most mind-blowing discoveries from this historical space mission? And what's the next destination planned for the Voyager spacecrafts?

The Voyager spacecrafts were the first man-made objects to ever cross the cosmic bubble, also known as the heliosphere. In today's episode we go over what it found on the other side and all of the other amazing discoveries from both the Voyager Spacecrafts.

Which discovery was your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!

After 40 years the Voyagers are still capturing crystal clear photographs. That is superior technology and I find that incredibly fascinating! Also being 10 billion miles from earth is unfathomable.

I think it's outrageous that there aren't 10 or more of these out there, each newer one better than the last.

The fact that it is billions of miles away and can still get signal back to earth at all.

Watching this on Christmas Eve, 2021. My lovely husband got me a telescope for Christmas! Merry Christmas fellow space nerds!

The heliosphere looks like the edge of a living cell.

Just to put the enormity of our solar system into perspective, a car traveling at normal highway speeds would take more than 6, 000 years to reach the dwarf planet, Pluto.

Can’t imagine what a Voyager 3 could do with current technology we have, going through the same route as Voyager 1 or 2

The spirit of Dr. Carl Sagan travels with them - they are an extraordinary feat of human ingenuity.

At its present speed it would take over 80, 000 years to reach the nearest star to Earth (Alpha Centauri) - over 160, 000 years for the return journey - about the same period of time since homo sapiens developed a frontal lobe to their brain. However, Voyager is not heading towards Alpha Centauri which is 4.36 light years away. To put this into perspective - a message to Voyager takes 19 hours (less then 1 day at the speed of light), but Voyager has been travelling for around 40 years.

If you contemplate that little blue speck in the closing of the video it will make you wonder, if this tiny speck can hold so much life how can people say that there is not life on other little specks in the universe that we can communicate with ?

I would be impressed if this video had real footage.

Great information but would be nice to actually see something other than artist's representations, and cgi pics of the voyager probes.

Thank you for this very interesting video. I am following the news from those little cars for 40 yrs now and their discoveries are still mindblowing.

I'm wonderfully grateful for the intense work these machines and teams do to bring this information to the public.

This was a nice video, but I am giving you a Dislike because you have a misleading title and image. I wish I could do worse to those post misleading titles.
