This week, I'm sharing some stories about my art and cake background while I make a hyperrealistic avocado cake! Can you tell which ones are cake?

I skipped to the end to see if I could see the cake one before watching it being made and wow that's extremely impressive. I thought there was no way it could be that one.

My money was on the one with the shiny pit for sure. I've never seen an avocado pit that clean looking before.

6:58 You can't tell me the one in the back isn't also cake! The skin is glossy, and the pit doesn't usually look like that.

I got the part without the pit because I could recognize the shade. And the part with the pit I was between the correct one and the one with a really *☆SMOOTH☆* pit. I guessed it couldn't be the really smooth one because you would never let a part of your cakes without texture and shades

By curiosity, when she told the story about how her family recognized her talent when she was a kid… anyone else thought like “damn my family never even acknowledged I exist, I can only wonder how that feels”? I was tricked cause yours looked more realistic than the real avocados. Whenever you put the cake next to the actual thing, I’m not usually tricked because I saw you make it, so this was so good! You’re getting even better each week! Keep tricking me!

My Son is a very talented artist, like his Dad who graduated from Ontario College of Art in Toronto. My Son isn't interested in drawing or painting any longer. I first realized how talented he was when, like you, he drew a picture from a colouring book. It was Santa Claus, but with a weird twist; Santa was holding a pistol. I still have that drawing and for years wanted him to colour it. I think if he saw it now, he'd want me to toss it.
