I have an 06 honda civic and took out the brown wire with grey spots and no noise coming from the mirror anymore. Thank you i refused to drive my car cos of that noise. Partner wanted to take the whole door skin off. You made me look like a professional

I have a 2002 Sequoia. The wires were yellow and green but the same positions. THANK YOU. That was so easy to fix, great video!!

Thank you for demo and feedback below as helped me figure out which wire to cut and then remove (unable to dislodge wire from casing so cut then removed) Red and grey striped outer wire for 1999 Toyota Funcargo/ Yaris. Enormously appreciated!!!!

Great video. Used it both to stop the annoying noise and remember where the red wire went back to once I was ready to replace the mirror.

Thank you for posting this. Immediately worked; I’m so happy been hearing this noise for way to long. Ours was the driver side, just pulled out the purple pin - problem solved. Bless you man!

My 2007 Jazz has just had that noise on the left side mirror, will try this method on it later, I guess it would be similar right? Maybe just different wire color code, will report to here if I had a success :) Thanks for your awesome knowledge and

Good day. I don't have the red wire. I'm seeing a black and white one. Should I pull that and the purple one out ?

THANK YOU!!! This video solved my problem and I'm so glad I could do this myself. It was the driver side motor so I pulled only the red wire. 2010 Sienna. You're the best and I send you my deepest gratitude 🙏🏼
