I lost my friend at Orlando Pulse nightclub mass shooting, it was the worst day of my life. I miss him every day. He was only 25. So thank you so much for doing this. It means a lot. I didn't knew what to expect cause after the tragedy there was still people that had the nerve to be disrespectful. Its sad that we live in a World with so much hate.

I like the fact that you are not trying to make a funny or impressive reaction, you look like you're genuinely listening, enjoying and feeling it, like you actually have things running through your head. That's beautiful.

I so much agree to your final comment... When I heard Mitch and Scott were doing this song I immediately played it. I was drawn right into it, and boy those other there singers are great... Your reaction was so heartfelt, and no I was not crying, my eyes were just sweating... A lot... How are they ever going to top this? Thanks Rob for sharing.

Hi Rob. I stumbled upon your channel and it's a keeper. You're a keeper. I"m an Army veteran as was my first partner. He died of a stroke at the young age of 55. I was 33 then and his daughters saw to it that I suffered as much as possible by locking me out of our home. At that time in 1991 there were no laws in Iowa to protect gay couples. We made out wills, but he passed away before we could sign them. So, this song, which I never heard of, was especially meaningful. I had no where to go but up and knew that he would have wanted me to "Rise". I hope he is watching over me and that i made him proud. I have a great guy in my life as of 1994. A Navy Veteran. Wonderful man. What I love about watching you is seeing another man share the same reaction I had to this song. It truly is beautiful and inspiring. Thank you. AL

IT'S TOO EARLY IN THE MORNING TO MAKE ME CRY.

I definitely did cry the first time I heard it, especially knowing that it was for the LGBTQ+ community. It works on a lot of levels-- we will rise and still be ourselves despite being targeted and killed like in orlando. We will still rise against people in politics trying to deny us of rights. And pretty much of all of us have gone through a long journey to get where we are today, myself included. I was closeted and in denial for a long time--I realized I was gay when I was around 11 and I never admitted it to myself until I was 18. I didn't come out to my parents until I was 23. I think this song is so great for kids that are like me when I was younger, and this can give them a little strength and knowing they have more worth than they think.

Scott's blonde swoop hair style is on point in this video.

I've been waiting for you to react to this one. The look on your face when Brian started hitting those high notes was priceless. His performances on the recent season of America's Got Talent were amazing. In his childhood he was bullied for being gay and overweight. In the Judge Cuts of AGT he sang his own rendition of the loser anthem "Creep" by Radiohead. Simon Cowell called it breathtaking. If you haven't seen it and you react to it, you should watch a version that is about 8 minutes long so you can see and hear his story before he performs, it makes his performance more beautiful and appropriate. Also, his first audition he sang "Somebody to Love" by Queen. Not many people can pull off a Freddie Mercury cover, but Brian did it.

And this was one of the most honest, and brave reactions I have seen shared. Powerful song, flawless performance; an anthem for anyone who has been marginalized, for any reason. Thank you so much.
