Applications of Calculus - Percentage Change Using the Incremental Change Formula.

In this video I go through how to solve a audience requested equation using the method of small increments. I really do hope it helps :)

In this video I use the approximation formula for small changes in x to approximate the percentage change in the dependent variable when the independent variable changes by 0.5%.

It is the type of problem that needs to be solved many times so that you become familiar with what to look for when doing the problem.

Can you do a video on this too: small changes problem: if y=5x^4 and x is increased by 2% of it's original value, find the corresponding percentage increase in y.
