I have had that done and the pain is insane! I had a chiropractor that I had to see 4 days a week to put my jaw and mandibles back in place because my jaw kept shifting out of alignment. I couldn’t eat and the pain was horrible but he saved me from having to have my jaw wired for 6 months or more like my doc wanted

Yep that sh*t HURTS!!! I was having trouble with my jaw and it was pretty painful to open my mouth up wide enough to eat things like cheeseburgers and things so I saw a chiro to see if they could fix it. I was the patient so I couldn’t see exactly what he was doing and if it exactly like what this Dr did but it seems about right, I’ve always had a problem with my jaw (where it meets your skull) popping and sometimes making small cracking noises but when it happened around ppl no one could hear it; cause I’d say “holy crap, did you hear that!??” And most of the time they’d look at me like I was crazy and say “no, hear what!?!” But anyways the chiro did the same thing to me that he’s doing to this young lady and I screamed a lot louder than her and grabbed his hands/arms and forcefully pushed his hands off me, because it felt like he was ripping my jaw off!! After that it seemingly only got worse and it was to the point I could barely open my mouth enough to eat jello or pudding off a spoon cause it hurt so bad. I was referred to an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, who sent me for X-rays and then a special MRI where I had to put this contraption in my mouth and click it to open my jaw, but it didn’t last long cause I could barely open my mouth wide enough to put it in my mouth. After seeing my MRI results I was scheduled for surgery the next week (it just so happened to be December 30, so my new year that year was spent mostly in bed or on the couch) because apparently (he showed me on a model of the human skull/jaw) there’s a small disc at the end of your jaw bone (where it meets your skull) that helps your jaw move, the disc slides your jaw bone along your skull so that it’s not just bone on bone. But the disc on my right side had gotten pushed out of its usual spot and was stuck, causing me to have a very tough time opening my mouth. I had surgery December 30, 2015 and spent New Years all hopped up on pain killers and ended up sleeping right through it! LOL!! I haven’t had problems since, thank God!! Hopefully what this chiro did helped this young lady with her issues, but I’d suggest seeing a doctor and getting some X-rays or CT before having a chiro do this to you!

A bully threw a softball at my face and hit my jaw. I was in elementary school, and I've had worsening issues since.

One chiropractor said I was the worst case he had seen, but none of my previous chiropractors did anything about my jaw. They mainly focused on my back injuries.

I dislocated my jaw almost 7 years ago and I am too afraid to go to anybody to help me. I still deal with the pain and my mouth doesn't open the same as before the incident happened, nor does it exist without pain, I've even had to change how I eat but I'm still so afraid of more pain that I just can't. Even seeing this, it gives me more fear than hope for relief. I don't know how to change that fear.

Yes i have ended a cycle and the person. I feel them wanting to come back because thy have unblocked me but im not going back ever, this cycle isnt going to another round. Iv learnt my lesson and no more cycle with this person.
