I don't bitch about refs often but the League made it a point to specific not rule it like this. You let the turnover stand and go to automatic review so the TD will stand and a challenge flag doesn't have to be wasted. This isn't just missing a call this is straight up doing the job incorrectly

What is even worse is they called the runner down when he was CLEARLY UPRIGHT! There have been fumbles milliseconds before the runners down that aren’t called dead. Hope the NFL is doing some training or punishment behind the scenes. This can’t happen. If the defense has the ball somehow, let it play out!

Imagine this… the year is 2022, we have super high tech cameras literally watching every angle possible on the field, yet we still rely on the eyes and reaction times of some slow 60+ year old dudes to make calls like this that completely effect games. Dudes who face absolutely ZERO repercussions for doing their job incorrectly…Just bring in the VAR already this is a joke.

3 Plays in 2 weeks all against the Vikings. 2 Fumbles against the Colts even though the Vikes still came back, and 1 against the Lions when they blew the play dead after Jefferson didn't step out of bounds. All game changing plays. All blown dead!

i know people often say i'm a so and so fan of this team, but i think it's relevant in this case because i'm a bucs fan, which has ZERO relevance to either one of these teams. that being said, i literally thought this was THE WORST call in the history of the NFL. to whistle that play dead and the have the gall to call unsportsmanlike conduct in a 4th quarter one score game when it was CLEARLY a fumble with NO room for interpretation like the tuck rule or anything like that is either PURE INCOMPETENCE, or CORRUPTION.
