Gringotts break in should definitely be up there. It was so risky with extremely high chances to fail, get caught, or die. It’s a miracle they managed to get away most unharmed

Keeping wormtail really wasnt risky. It was gonna prove Sirius was innocent and he had 2 strong wizards to help him. Going anywhere with Dumbledore is also not that risky. Id say things like breaking into Gringots or visiting Godric's Hollow was riskier.

whats stupid is that the trio or the mauraders (sirius and remus) didnt use a spell on pettigrew like petrificus totalus or immobulus to prevent him from running

I think harry and wormtail is a great example of, not killing the bad guy or at least knocking them unconscious to move them is stupid, if he had at least knocked him out, voldemort wouldn't have returned and no one would've had to have died
