You can use a variety of phrases and idioms for your speaking test. The speaking test is not academic and isn't not formal. So, don't worry about that. You can use all phrases mentioned in this video for speaking and many more. Just be chatty in your test and express yourself in a natural way. It is quite different to the writing test where you need to be more careful about how you express yourself.

Liz has surely done a great job in finding all these possible doubts of common language speakers and she has answered it in a very simple and easy to understand way. Also, keep in your mind that while you are attending her lectures it is very good exercise for listening section simultaneously, so, my advice is to not skip any video of her.
