My, oh my Casey how you have grown. I have been with you since your Youtube debut. That you have not been affected by the glitches, and don't know how you might feel is forthright. Well, I am an old lady Ebay seller who got "slapped" by an Ebay glitch and boy does it sting. As a Las Vegan and gambling woman, I'll bet it would sting you too because it tears at your self-worth and soul. I have worked very hard at being an Ebay advocate since my membership in 1998. They refuse to right their wrong that was done to me from one of their glitches. Now, I am made to feel like a number, inanimate object. Ebay's success was founded on a personal, one on one basis. That is going away and whence the sting begins. Stay with us out here Casey. Your service and dedication has produced a man we are proud of and need.

Its not just the glitches. It's how Ebay stays quiet about it instead of giving us a heads up so we can react to it. I've written a standardized letter that I send to every buyer now asking them to confirm their ship to address. I could have been doing that much sooner if Ebay had just given me heads up.

I am very happy that you never experienced eBay glitches. I didn't until this morning! My sales supposed to end last night and they never did for 1/4 of my store! When I went to my markdown and sales they showed ENDED... I had to hand pick over 500 items, end them and relist! So now I know what others are experiencing. I just hope eBay will invest some of the money sellers pay them to FIX what needs to be fixed!

As for fees, I have owned a brick and mortar store - Ebay Fees are nothing compared to owning your own store. Try consignment, most places around here will take anywhere from 35% to 60%. People need to realize that it's really just a drop in the bucket. True business minded sellers will get it - the ones who complain, have no clue. It's the part of doing business and they honestly shouldn't complain and I agree, nothing and no one is perfect. Enjoy your updates and all that you do Casey.

Thing is, eBay holds its sellers to strict standards, and never, ever cuts us any slack (ex. if the USPS screws up and delivers a package 1 day late, the buyer did everything they are supposed to do and the buyer gives the seller a negative for it, eBay will NOT remove that negative.) But at the same time eBay does not hold themselves to ANY kind of standard. These glitches are very serious and have cost some sellers SERIOUS money... and their reaction? "Oh, well!". No consequences for them.

I am with you on the glitches and I am a nobody on reselling. The only glitch I notice is when I try to sell something 1 pound 12x9x3 size it will default a price of $8 to $9 and not always.

Casey, same here I have never experienced any of those glitches either! I sell approx 600-700 a month and still haven’t seen any of these glitches.

Minus the drafts disappearing the other day I haven’t experienced those issues either. I’m not a big time seller and honestly if I wasn’t trying to list stuff the other day I probably wouldn’t have noticed the draft glitch because it all came back within an hour. I hope eBay is able to stay on top of these things because I’m stuck in my ways and don’t want to change platforms.

Yes, we Understand that it is "part of doing business" and that it is the biggest marketing platform and that Sellers save than having expenses for a brick and mortar or trying to sell on another platform BUT Ebay should appreciate its high time and consistent Sellers AND at least inform everyone of the said glitches, plus improve the Platform. True, many have not received these notices but, why would sellers make up these glitches.

There appears to be a big anti ebay movement, among sellers, gaining momentum.

If there is actually someone competent running the company, he needs to address some of our concerns.
Put an end to the speculation. Seller morale is in a downward spiral.

Similar to our lack of confidence in politicians in DC, ebay appers to be taking the same approach.

The biggest Glitch for me was the photos disappearing off my listings, and ebay deleting my SKU out of the Custom SKU. Still have some listings I find with missing SKU from long ago when that happened

Only had one glitch on a couple of sales last week where ebay didn't upload the tracking as they normally do after the labels were printed, so I had to type them in manually after marking the items as shipped. Nothing major.

Fees are a little more than 13% but then that percent is also based not just on the item but also on the tax and shipping costs. Making it closer to 20%. Am I getting that right?
For all its glitches, most of my sales are on eBay so is still my #1.

Every eBay seller I know is upset with how the company is being run. Absolutely nothing has changed for the better and sales are getting worse and worse. I wouldn't recommend anyone sell on eBay...

What really irks me is that they did not contact all sellers to report this massive issue. I never received any notification of this so how am I supposed to know when buyers start messaging asking where their packages are and then I have no answer had it not been for Casey.

Has eBay confirmed yet if they have fixed this glitch so all sales going forward will be good?
