I cannot understand how high quality of a concept this is. There's two timelines, one that received a slow burn message of the fact that the device will explode and the other that would receive a extremely short and extremely loud message that the device would explode. This is just too good

Neither prankster Caleb nor gullible Caleb have any actual reason to believe the device is gonna explode aside from them telling eachother. This means there are either more Caleb's stuck in the loop who figured out for themselves that the device explodes... or the device exploding is pure coincidence, which is my preferred theory because it's hilarious.

For real, Caleb's editing and acting have reached such a peak that I didn't even bat an eye when I saw three different hims in on shot. Perfectly logical in context.

Love how the Caleb at the end started to pick up the time viewer just as the prank call ended, completing the loop of him running away with the bomb when he gets called from the past

It's a loop.

The first Caleb is running because he now knows the device will explode. He tries to warn past him, so he can get out of there in time, as it's too late now.

The second Caleb takes it as a joke and continues the joke.

The third Caleb is running because he now knows the device will explode. He tries to warn past him, so he can get out of there in time, as it's too late now.

*enter the fourth Caleb*

It continues infinitely, switching between the one who thinks it's a joke and the one who knows it'll explode.
