I’m so sorry that anyone would think it’s ok to treat someone like this. I know it’s not easy to talk about but years ago I took care of a Holocaust survivor he had dementia and what he would talk about and cry, the crying was like a stake being driven into my heart 💜.

In one day a miracle can happen. Such incredible strength and fortitude to keep putting one foot in front of the other when facing such abject cruelty and constant adversity. I am always amazed listening to the stories of Holocaust survivors and how they were able to survive. During their captivity and constant torture and the high levels of trauma they had to live with even once they were liberated. A testament on the Jewish people’s ability to overcome and persevere. That is why we must always heed their words and never forget otherwise history will repeat itself. God bless Israel in her continued struggle with terror.
