Controlled plane landings on water, known in the industry as ‘ditching,’ are rare occurrences.  Equally, crash-landings on water do not occur regularly. That said, landing in water is a precaution that pilots and crew must train for. So what happens when an airplane lands in water?

You forgot to mention about the recovery of the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder, which are both essential in figuring out why the aircraft went down in the first place. As with the loss of the RCAF CH-148 Cyclone helicopter off of Greece a couple of weeks agao. Since the CH-148 is a militarized version of the civilian S-92, it had the "black boxes" on board.

I have an idea for your upcoming video. It would be nice if Simple Flying could make a video about the potential use of sustainable fuel/biofuel in aviation industry. As we all know, some airline already use biofuel to operate their passenger aircraft i.e. Lufthansa and British Airways. However, does it really gives significant effects toward the nature of the business in term of cost, availability, and its effect toward engine efficiency. In addition, does the usage of biofuel could reduce the carbon footprint as this issue is topical now.
