George Miller and Ian Jomha (formerly Ian Washburn) were two of the biggest Commentary / Comedy / Edgy YouTubers in 2016 YouTube. TVFilthyFrank and IdubbbzTV accumulated billions of views amoungst their videos with MaxMoeFoe, AnythingForViews and HowToBasic. Idubbbz, with his Content Cop series took the world by storm in uploads targeting RiceGum, LeafyIsHere and Keemstar. FilthyFrank uploaded phenomenal music, Pink Guy and parody videos.

However, now Joji and Idubbbz are set on a new path. With Joji releasing music such as Glimpse of Us and his album Nectar, going on tour and receiving Billions of listens on his music... While Idubbbz has lost $250,000 in his Creator Clash 2 charity event. Both of them have attempted to dissociate from their edgy past. Drama against Sam Hyde, Froggy Fresh and thousands of dislikes... How did Joji do what Idubbbz couldn't?

It's worth remembering, Frank asked his audience a long time ago if they'd follow him into a music career and the answer was an almost universal no. So instead of crying and raging out, Joji started slipping his musical talents into the Filthy Frank show. Especially via Pink Guy and the eventual Pink Season. By the time health caught up with him, everyone knew he was a great musician and singer. The transition went smooth because he proves he has the talent for it. He gracefully bowed out of Filthy Frank's shoes.

Instead, Ian cried, raged, and went to war with the Internet. A war no one has and ever will win. They both revealed their true selves, Ian's true self just happened to be a two faced lying grifter who ripped the ladder up AFTER using it to become a multi millionaire

Max never changed too, he's still doing his thing, with the same friends, with the same partner. And we all love him for it. George even came to his wedding in that same house. It seems that Ian is embarassed by his past whereas Max is proud of it and the friends he made along the way

Joji also has Plummcorp. While he hasn't appeared on camera (yet), his comedic direction is clearly alive and well with such classics as Dracula Flow 1-3, Freaky Washington and Aqua Man 4

My view on Ian has been that he is a genuinely funny guy. Full Force was one of his best videos in my eyes, which shows that he doesn't need to be edgy to be funny. Somewhere along the way he lost his creator and comedic touch. He's just... nothing now. His current videos don't provide much entertainment and feel like 15 minute TikToks, in my opinion at least.

Joji never treated filthy frank and his old work as something he wants to hide, he could've taken those videos down when his music started taking off but he didn't and even left a book to finish the story he started as one last gift to that community. he treated his old fanbase with respect and as a result they supported him as he made the transition away from that content. Ian did the exact opposite while also being a hypocrite and that's why he fell off

I remember the old Jojivlogs brought me to the Chloe Burbank album & the "Joji" soundcloud profile. So many people in the comments we're begging for him to release more music, it was clear to anyone who listened that he had a talent for it. I hope George lives a happy and fulfilling life these days, because the amount of joy he's created through comedy and music for other people, he deserves it.

I was at one of Jojis Pandemonium concerts and he is still has a bit of edge to him. He is still has his dark humor while also being the “new” Joji. It’s like an old car with a new coat of paint. Great show, great music and still love Joji.

Anonymity. That's the key. What do we know about Joji's personal life, girlfriend, etc? Nothing. What do we know about iDubbbz's personal life? Probably too much. Ultimately, Joji only reveals himself to either release, promote, or perform his art. iDubbbz remained a personality instead of creating personalities.

The issue i think is that Ian HASNT changed. He hasnt grown as a person. He just doesnt say slurs anymore. His froggy fresh video proves that, its basically a content cop. He still puts people down, he still insults people and he still clearly wants to act like hes the smart one. This is all shit he did in content cops he still does, just without his use of bad words.

I watched Filthy Frank first, when he transitioned into Joji I wasnt really into his music, but with time I liked Joji's music more and more. He definitely made the right choice to leave right at his peak as FF, because he would just die off right now with YouTube's new rules. I just appreciate that Joji doesnt vilify Frank and embraces who he was, what a man!

Agreed, Joji as Franku is playing a character and anyone now know its a different person and all frank content is basically a 180 of him in real life. Same as Mr Bean to Rowan Atkinson is (You can find Rowan interview here on youtube i forgot the title). While Ian, he is idubbz. The guy that wacky and making fun to everyone. Thats him, its just he tried to remain in youtube algorithm that he stopped saying controversial words/references. Its still content cop, but this time we all know he's the one that need to get arrested this time.
