This video deserves an Oscar. For one person to prepare this entire feast is mind boggling and my hats off to you! What an amazing feat. I never knew Chinese cooking involved this much work and preparation. My mouth was watering the entire time. Incredible. You are a true professional. I can never look at a fast food Chinese restaurant again and believe I’m getting the very best of Chinese cooking! Amazing!

I like watching your videos because you don’t just say a recipe-you take time to explain the ‘ why this works ‘ details like that mean so much! Thank you.

Wow! This is like 4+ cooking videos in one. I don't think I've seen such a detailed and ambitious cooking video on YouTube before.

This is a great opportunity to thank you for your channel. As a third-generation Japanese American, I have learned more from you over the past two years. Your chow mein and fried rice recipes are now my go-to recipes that I make often. I particularly enjoy your background information on the dishes and just watching you cook is so satisfying. Keep up the great work!

Happy Chinese New Year!! As an American-born Chinese person, I've always just known recipes and dishes by taste but not how to make them. Your channel has been a godsend in learning to cook the food I grew up with!! The one-pot chicken noodle soup (with the broth hack) has been a college student's lifesaver, and the various stir-fries have really helped me get familiar with cooking. Thanks for a wonderful few years, and here's to the next!

Being a Chinese-Canadian who enjoys dim sum, I really like the "Cantonese Ribs with Black Bean Sauce Recipe (Dim Sum Style)". Along with other dimsum recipes (e.g. chiu chow dumplings, siu mai, beef balls etc.), you've allowed me to savour these dishes throughout the lockdown period when it wasn't as convenient to go out to restaurants for dim sum. Thank you Mandy for keeping the cooking so authentic and fun!

All the videos from this channel have helped my cooking skills grow. From noodle making, to velveting, to pickling. I always learn something.

This video has so much great info that I learned from. It's like all your videos in that regard but for this one it's clear you put an enormous amount of work into it-- thank you for this and all your other videos too. To anyone who doesn't own any of Mandy's products-- I own and use them all regularly and recommend them highly. Happy New Year!

I have been following you for a few months now, but I have already learned so so much of food hacks and tricks to really take my Chinese recipes to a whole new level. Your shorts were pure revelation. I am sincerely so grateful to you and all your amazing recipes.

I absolutely love your lightening fast kung pow chicken recipe that I've made several times now.

If there’s one part of Chinese cooking that I love and have a hard time making, it’s sauces. But after watching your video on Dumpling Sauce, which was so simple a child could do it, I finally got the right ingredients to get the taste I was looking for. It’s so good I could drink it as it is without a dumpling. Finally! You made it so easy for me.

Mandy you are hands down the best teacher for Chinese cooking!! I’ve learned so much from your demonstration techniques and your explanation of how ingredients interact. You are a wealth of knowledge and experience. Plus you are so fun to watch. I also love your product designs and the outfits you wear. My all time favorite is the one on how to fold the different dumpling styles.

Question for you: who was the most influential person in your life who taught you to cook?

Your new years eve meals are my favorite. I can't do two dishes at once so I'm always blown away by the huge menus. I have your wok, large clay pot, knives and chopsticks. They are all of great quality.

I love Souped Up Recipes. I am a widow who lives alone and cooks for one. I can reference recipes on your channel and adjust the amounts to perfect results every time. I really enjoy experimenting with your sauces and learning how to prep and marinate meats and proteins. Some days it is so easy just to make your skinny recipe since it is so delicious and satisfying. You have videos for everyone and your videos for beginners are excellent for those of us who need to build confidence in our skills. Now I've started to try substituting different ingredients I have on hand. What fun! I bought my wok 40 years ago----its finally getting a workout. Thank you so much.

Hands down, teaching me how to "Velvetize" chicken and meat has been life changing. Any and all of the "Better than Take Out" recipes are winners. Thank you for bringing such joy and cooking expertise to our lives. Happiest of New Year's to you!

Favourite dish from your channel? Hand's down: Rolled Omelette Recipe. I've made this so many times; made it for friends at their place; served it at special occasions; given it to my kid for a high-protein and low carb meal for work/sports. Still enjoy it after +100 times.

Hi Mandy! Happy Chinese New Year. I really enjoyed watching your videos and I followed series of recipes like sweet and sour pork, pork dumplings, wonton noodle soup, and I’ve been following your channel all the time whenever i have something in mind to cook. I love it when you include some information about what we are cooking and history on it. Tips really help a lot. Instructions were very detailed and easy to follow.

I haven't been able to cook for a long time, so I live vicariously through select YouTube chefs. Since discovering Mandy's channel, she has become one of my favorites to watch! I watched her making moon cakes last year, wishing I could make some, because I have to order mine for shipment to Alabama.
