Cleveland police on Tuesday night arrested three teenage boys accused of a string of car break-ins in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood — and police believe the teens may have been involved in "many" more break-ins over the past several weeks.

According to a release from the Cleveland Division of Police, three males, ages 14, 16 and 17, are believed to have been involved in 14 reported car break-ins on Thursday. The suspects were located using "technology and investigative techniques," police said.

"I am proud of the hard work our officers and detectives put into investigating, tracking, and arresting these individuals," Chief Annie Todd said. "Both the community and our Division have felt the impact of these crimes, and it was a priority for us to bring these suspects into custody."
