Ixi, as someone who knows absolutely nothing about music theory, I'm often in awe of your technical mastery. You've now used that mastery to weave this beautiful song. I lack the expertise to explain what it is that makes me love this song. Here's the best way I can put it:

20+ years ago, my best friends and I would sit together and listen to the music that shaped us. Tool's The Patient. NIN's Hurt. Rammstein's Nebel. All of Ava Adore! We sat around the CD player, listening to Maynard sing Orestes. "Metaphor for a missing moment." It felt like being on a beach, chest deep in water that moved us with each of syllable like a music conductor using the entire ocean as a wand. Those were the best years of my life.

I feel like this song was there with us. Somehow, time has folded and who I was then is experiencing this song now. Like it finally arrived and joined the rest of those beautiful memories.
