This hits home fir me, because from the tine That i was 8 1/2 to 17 years old, my mother and stepfather father beat the hell out of me, and I had to cook and clean fir the entire family, but i couldn’t eat any of the food. I only ate at school. On the weekends, i wasn’t allowed to eat unless there was food served at the church. I also had to stand in the burner from 530 pm til 630 am, and the only time that i slept was in the school bus and in church( which I developed a sleeping disorder and only sleep 2hrs a night. I’m now a Pastor and i work to reach out to children and their families to help break the cycle

As a father of a son, I’m just lost for words lookin at this dude here. He is no man. I could never let/allow someone to hurt my child in this way. On top of him being a black father at that, we have such a much bigger target on our back and a role we have to fill already and he did nothing but hurt our image even more. I’m seriously more disappointed than angry. That little child won’t have a second chance. It hurts.

Even in the courtroom...after all the abuse she inflicted on his child she thought she could still exert her will over him...just as she had when she ruled their home. The only admirable thing he did was not allowing her to intimidate him. Had he "grown a pair" sooner his little girl would still be alive.
