I'm getting closer to firing up the 600ish hp stroker motor for the S10! In this video I install a Moroso evac system (part# 25900) and explain why I made that choice..... Don,t forget to SUBSCRIBE!

Subscribed - found your channel while looking up a whole lot of evac videos and after looking and listening to a couple different videos, like the way you talk straight up, I don’t have to watch - can listen and look as necessary - they are short and to the point with no airs n graces 👍 keep it up
(I don’t know if it matters for your info - born in 70’s so still in my early days 🤣💪)

Good job with the video. I am installing one on Mikes Modified circle track car, so good information. AG

I run the same evac. On my street car with full exhaust car has a lot of exhaust pulsing due to the camshaft that I use the check valves when placed at the header will eventually blow out the check valve aspect of the valve I found that running the check valves closer to the valve cover keeps them from blowing out and still evacuates crankcase .

Did you achieve the desired results? Im seeing some say it wont work with full exhaust/mufflers unless its behind the muffler instead of at the header.
My understanding is when the area gets smaller( like a venturi ) velocity increases but pressure drops. So right after the muffler or at the collector is why there.
I have the same style but haven't picked the spot, so many experts, lol

Super interesting. Do you have a second part?

Love evac's, if you take a little off the tip in the header it will pull a little more, mine sucks to my hand at idle with axle dump exhaust with mufflers

you could plumb in a catch can to 'catch' the oil mist, its what I did.

Is there a certain depth to mount them in the exhaust?? Thanks!

I always enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work. Do you still have the 68 El Camino?

Nice! What type of hose are you using? How has it held up to the temp of the exhaust?

Having turndowns out of the muffler pointed slightly toward each other rather than staight down toward the ground or turned out toward the tire also makes the vehicle a bit queiter due to something with noise frequencies bouncing off each other or something to that effect. Someone smarter than me can explain it. That is one of the reasons we do this. Still can spray oil on your tires, its just the opposite side. I know this from experience 🙂.

that's a 4.3 V6 small block right?

Did you consider you are hindering the exhaust flow w/ that evac pipe in the exhaust? Aren't they designed to be mounted to a 4" collector?

The exhaust tips pointed at one another eliminate frequencies to run quieter.
