I was actually looking for a cnc for a drone frame project. Got surprised that they made a drone frame in the video, first video I clicked too. ☺

any company that would be so irresponsible to post a video of cutting carbon fiber without an enclosure or even a vacuum/filtration system (which is really the absolute bare minimum, carbon fiber should be wet when you cut it ), exposing anyone in the room to long term lung damage and contaminating the room itself forever, doesn't exactly inspire me to think they put a lot of care or thought into the quality of their products. you might as well be cutting asbestos as far as your lungs are concerned. really really foolish and dangerous.

If you dont mind me asking, what endmill bit did you use in the video?

Great demonstration. I have a CNC shop and have been looking for some thing small to do engravings and laser etching. What is the max spindle speed on your machine?

would you be able to cut glass using this method?

That bit sticks out way too far for comfort. The head drops down further right?

So what's the return period on it? What if you get it an it's a piece of crap? Seems high risk and something that sounds too good to be true usually is.

You should never cut carbon fiber without a solution to extract dust. Get real Snapmaker and demonstrate your products in a responsible manner.

This is a ridiculous thing to do, carbon dust particles are very toxic. Normally carbon fibre is cut in a water bath and with good reason. Even short exposure like this is dangerous. Promoting it like this in a product video is not acceptable. This might lead to people actually trying this at home and suffer or die of the consequence. At least add a never try this at home or a strong advice of doing this outside with plentiful protection...
