Interested in these as a possible future replacement for our Nissan Elgrand. We've got a bespoke camper/day van conversion in the Elgrand that we'd have to be able to replicate in a new van. We took the back seats out and added side benches with a slide out kitchen. Gets almost daily use as a day van at the beach and summer use as a camper. My dream, when the right EV comes along, is to replicate this, somehow tapping into the traction battery for camping purposes!

I have a Hyundai i10 1.2 petrol and have had it for 11 years with 102000 miles on the clock, it cost £7000 new in 2013 and has been no trouble, just basic maintenance. My next car will be electric, but I’m watching the market as the i10 keeps soldiering on. There are some great cars coming, I’ll need to wait until they hit the used market. At 66 I am running out of time though 😂

Yes, I'd like to see some mentions of your new home🏡
My car MG4 51. Bit tight for sleeping in, but road tripped Sunshine Coast - Adelaide to see Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in 2023.
Also, had 4 nights in it for Everything Electric Show in Sydney👍
Earplugs & aircon = awesome sleep 🤩

Has Toyota really built the Proace Verso with a CATL Battery or have they got another manufacturer to build it for them. I don't trust Toyota any more they have made so many promises and they have not kept one, I am still waiting for their Solid State Battery they promised back in 2014 let alone all the others, We have just developed a new motor that is going to put a end to EVs and it still keeps goes on. If their Hybrids were world leading as they claim then why are they going to use BYD Power Trains from 2026. To my way of thinking if you are going to use BYD Power Trains it comes down to if you can't bet them join them.

I’m hoping to buy a Kia EV3, in Nova Scotia Canada maybe on its first refresh and when it hopefully gets an LFP battery and any bugs worked out. Maybe by then they’ll have launched the EV2 here. I’m trying to hang onto my 2011 Kia Soul until I find a cute reliable moderately affordable sub compact EV SUV, that’s short in length but not in height and has a dealer network for when I need it. My friends and family are all trying to discourage me from getting any EV. They say it’s much too early. I disagree.

As said below.
Stellantis vans, in a "Toyota Suit" and a quick check reveals the Toyota versions seem to be considerably more expensive (They are a customer product)
Add the "Toyota Shenanigans" and why wouldn't you take the European versions from Peugeot, Citroen or Vauxhall?

I've been riding a Toyota Verso for the past 11 years. I bought a Smart #3 to replace it (I don't need that much space anymore) and should have it in 2 weeks.
This Toyota City Verso looks awfully similar to the Peugeot e-Rifter. Range is terrible (50 kWh battery + big consumption) and charging is slow (100 kW) so I would consider it only as a "city" car. I only need the space when going on long trips though ... so I would never consider it.
But for someone transporting lots of kids every week-end on short-medium distances I guess it would fit.

Mine's a Kangoo z.e. 22 kWh (long version) - Bit basic, but brilliant value for money. Considering a newermodel or used Proace verso for a little more luxury and range... or nissan equivalent etc.

Good looker -- no doubts. In AU we've had Tarago with a petrol motor. Did look similar. Good thing if it is a battery EV. Particularly, if it is an LFP battery. It will be hot stuff. Surprise it is Toyota? They must be waking up finally? Good on them.

Waiting to hear about the life of the battery and cost to replace should be part of full disclosure in selling otherwise we are just dumb buyers.

Why do Toyota interiors always look so cheap and ugly?
