For people complaining about not having time, I fully agree no one actually takes notes like this in a lecture or even class but I have made “aesthetic” summary pages as reviewing modules for exam prep and it’s actually a great memory retention thing for lots of people!

I love using an ipad and making pretty notes, but for effective note taking i would highly recommend typing it in a handwritten font. It’s a lifesaver for making it pretty and efficient

Meanwhile for me, note taking at University is basically video recording, typing quickly on a word document, and screenshots of teacher’s slideshow or ebook page and highlight/bullet points of important notes so it helps me to speed up my studies lol. I was in animation and media so I have to edit videos and make animations, not much time for note taking.
