I have the last year 2004 XR250r best dirt bike I have owned so far for trail riding and on my farm, the gearing is perfect for low speed riding on trails. Maybe someday I will get the XR400r also, they are both lifetime bikes because they are bullet proof Honda made.The newer bikes just have way to much electronic crap on them, I just want simple engineering for any kind of motorcycle.

I used to own one of those
great bike for their period.
I did snap the frame down by the foot peg though as water can get into the frame over time and rot it out
And you can trash that thing all day it will take it.

Tighten up those steering head bearings and get some stifer fork springs and change the fork oil . You'll be way happier .
