Demystifying French Seams with Mors Bags || 100 Days of Sewing || Day 8

Today's video is a sewalong for a Mors Bag, which is a great scrap busting project & an easy way to learn how to do a French seam if you've never attempted one.
I also discuss the significance of directional prints & pattern placement.
You don't need a pattern for a Mors Bag, you can use whatever scraps you have & very few tools, so it's an ideal project to practise your sewing skills, gain confidence with a sewing machine & you get to save the planet 1 Mors Bag at a time! 😊

I never knew that there was such a thing!! I’ve made bags before but you’ve inspired me now to make them as gift bags. I have loads of fat quarters left from making scrubs bags. What does “Mors” mean or is it an acronym?
I have a friend who is very environmentally motivated (she goes solo & group litter picking ). One of these will be great for a Christmas gift for her
