My favorite sewing gift: was travelling to the city with some ladies who were picking up a lightweight machine to take to quilting class. When I arrived at the store my husband had phoned in and bought one for me.

I got some stork and duck billed scissors last year and I use them all the time! Best gift ever!

Thanks Sam. I would definitely prefer a voucher as I prefer to chose the fabric and pattern myself. Having said that, I have requested a Clapper for Christmas.

I would agree with you about lighting - I got a lovely table light with a daylight bulb from Hobbycraft which was really reasonable. It sits on my sewing table and doesn't take up too much space, but makes a huge difference, especially now days are getting gloomier!

Hi Sam, thanks for the lighting recommendation's I really need to invest. I make a list of what I want sewing related and put into a family group. Works a treat! 😃

Lots of great Christmas ideas Sam. I have the same rotary cutter as you and I really like it. best purchase / game changer for me. I have 2 x A1 cutting mats which I find easier for storing with being limited for space (kitchen table is my multi function work space as well as eating)
Thanks for all of the research and effort that you put into these vlogs 🤓🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
