1000 nits is still impressive for an OLED. My older LG OLED tops out at like 550 nits and it still produces a beautiful picture. 1000 nits probably looks amazing coupled with quantum dots and black levels.

(I use NORMAL Color Space in SDR content) but for HDR I use Native.
Peak Brightness 🔆: High

It has great upscaling, what you are likely referring to is low bit rate content, which just happens to be more common on some low resolution content like the Walking Dead, but make no mistake a Blu-ray or 1080p show with decent cameras like the Orville will look nearly 4k

Just got a 65" for $1400 out the door...I'm coming from a 9 year old lcd tv so any ounce of upgrade would impress me....I just finished calibrating it and I'm blown away so much I turn on the TV just to see the content in hdr....I'm also pleased that the tv has loud punchy bass and crisp

Thank you doing this. Since the update debacle started online no one has done a proper review addressing this. Which in turn makes it hard to make a decision on buying this tv as all most of us last heard was the update nerfed it orginal brighten etc. So again thank you. In the title you should as review after title update to separate you from the rest.

Samsung listened to the professional reviewers saying it was not accurate so they changed it so upsetting the owners who bought it
