Today, we'll be taking a look at the new S95B OLED from Samsung [QE65S95BATXXU]. After a long hiatus, Samsung has finally re-entered the OLED market with the S95B. Combined with their own popular Quantum Dot HDR tech, next level dynamic sound and detailed game enhancements, Samsung have waited for the perfect time to deliver what is essentially another first of its kind with the potential to de-throne any other OLED on the market right now.

Available in a whole range of sizes from 55"-85", it's prefect for any size home. It has a super sharp 4K 3840x2160 resolution OLED display built with Quantum Dot tech that uses Self-Illuminated pixels for a more naturally bright and colour rich picture and combined with the Neural Quantum 4K Processor that uses layered pixels to manipulate and refine every possible aspect of the picture, there's no doubt that the quality here is premium. So why not check out how we got on with this amazing TV to see whether this could be the next addition to your home!

I have this tv for few weeks now and i love it so far! Amazing picture quality. This tv and a gaming pc or console is a combination made in heaven. The most brightest colorfull oled tv to date. Only the UI of this tv needs a upgrade such as the advanced settings too.

Awesome looking set but I don’t like the bent screens, as such this would be in this video.

I've had to return two of the 55-Inch version of this TV, bought mine from Samsung themselves, and both were noticeably bent and warped. Ultra-thin sure, but makes it easier for these TVs to arrive bent. I might buy it for a third and final time, just to see if I'm unlucky three times in a row.

Nice video 🤩✨

But as a someone want to upgrade his TV to OLED did Samsung talked about burn in OLED?

Because they are using quantum dot OLED TV is this technology will immune from Burn in?

I just bought this TV from Box. Arrives Tuesday… hopefully without a bend in the screen!

Thanks for the test!
(1) 0:58 Is the panel broken? It looks like a curved.
(2) Do black colours like on black clothes look natural or is it „too“ good and you only see a monochromatic surface? I can‘t decide between OLED and Mini-LED.
(3) Have you noticed differences between OLED and Mini-LED tvs like QLEDs? For example auto darken?

I see a pretty amount of people running scared because this TV hasn’t got Dolby Vision.
But what exactly is the impact of that when you hit content which is in Dolby Vision? Is it unable to play? Is it screwing your colors? I’m not a tech guy but is this something to not buy this TV?

This TV looks amazing, with the brighter colors and some other improvements compared with standard OLED, like ABL being less agressive. The problem is, I don't trust Samsung tvs nor their other products.

Vincent Teoh of HDTVTest showed how bad the ABL (ASBL with gaming) is. The Sony A95K went more than 20 minutes as opposed to the Samsung S95B went something like 6-7 minutes and it went pitch black. But does 6-7 minute long scenes in movies or gaming happen ? Usually by then, the scenes change. So is this an issue with gaming and watching movies in reality ? But also, Samsung, they just scare me as a company. They also ruined the QN90B I'm hearing with the a firmware update that destroyed the local dimming features. I want to buy the S95B though. But if it's going to dim while gaming, no way. Reason why I haven't bought an Oled yet. I'm also hearing it used to hit 1500 Nits, now it barely breaks 1000. What the hell happened !!!?
