I came to HCMC in 2018 to Re-marry my wife & meet her family(we were already married in the States). Getting married "Vietnamese style" was quite the experience:) I remember the men's team beat Iraq(?) & the whole city was celebrating well into the early morning. I'm moving back to HCMC in 10 days with my wife and our 2.5 yo daughter. We're all super excited. I can't wait to see my daughter's reaction.

Another tip for rainy season in HCMC and also the whole southern Vietnam region: Anywhere else, people often look at the sky to tell whether it’s about to rain. Well, not always applicable here. When it rains, it rains. Usually there’s just no clue. So bring your raincoat or umbrella with you all the time (preferably raincoat).

I've been to Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City once before. It was a cultural shock for me but I would love to go back again this time around with what I know now. I have some relatives still there and in Hanoi. Will need to bring my husband and daughter to see. We will watch and re-watch all your videos before we go! :D

Love the Workshop Coffee. It is not for disabled or elderly because many stairs to climb but great place for coffee.

Hello Van, My wife and I visited HCMC in Oct 2019 - had a wonderful experience, loved the food and the culture. Did have a bit of an issue with a customs officer, but besides that, people were very friendly and helpful. I would love to re-visit and travel North for a different experience.
