As stated in the video, “These are my Top 100 PERSONAL FAVORITE horror films.” Not “These are the Top 100 Best Horror Films Ever Made.” There is a difference. I would never tell someone else what movies should be on their personal favorites lists. Thanks for the support and kind words from those who watched and enjoyed the video. By the way, I have a channel full of videos besides this algorithm-recommended one. ;)

What a terrific list. I've seen, and enjoyed, 76 of them. What's amazing to me is you chose 24 films I haven't seen. Always glad to have more horror film recommendations.

Some very intriguing additions to one of my fave genres .
Art and creativity is in the eye of the beholder especially in this genre.
Horror is a visceral, emotional experience.
You have added some films I have genuinely not experienced before and I’m grateful for that.
Surprising admissions from my pov were It Follows, Dawn of the Dead (1978 or 2005). The Japanese or American Ring film.
For me horror takes the “things that go bump in the night or scare you visually”
Event Horizon to this day still scores very high on any horror list for me.
Along with the creep show anthologies 1+2.

Jan Man, I share in your love of Horror movies for the same reasons you mentioned at the beginning of the video.
Great, comprehensive list

I'd have to add Fright Night and Motel Hell to my list.
FYI, Halloween 3 is a top 10 film for me

I’ll keep this video saved in my playlist. There are many films in this list that I’ve never seen!

I really liked your list. It had some of my lesser known favorites (like Storm of the Century) and you gave me some new ones to look for. Your commentary was very well done.
I rarely watch YouTube videos over 10 minutes long, but I stayed glued to the screen for the entire 52:47 of this one. Liked and Subscribed.

Train to Busan is the BEST zombie film. Also great to see 'I Saw The Devil' on your list. I love that it forces viewers to cheer for a protagonist who exacts extended and bloody revenge on the psychopathic rapist/cannibal that killed his fiancee. I think most everyone can put themselves in his place. The best horror pulls our darker impulses out of our psyche, allowing us to live out dark fantasies vicariously and harmlessly.

Wouldn’t have put Storm of the Century that high but glad it’s getting some love…. I’ve always thought it was highly underrated.

#1 is the Undisputed Champion (though it’s subjective really). Saw it on the big screen last night…wow….Powerful and Truly Scary. Seeing it on the big screen REALLY made me appreciate the victims acting. It’s super realistic. And you genuinely feel terror for each one of their fates. The antagonists (the cook specifically) is pure terror. It gets a little zany by the end but that was Hoopers vision and I love it. Pure cinematic horror at its finest.

Evil Dead 2, The Shining, Misery, and the original Carrie are my favorites. Carrie is one of the most demented films I’ve seen, but is also very well made.

Great list. I would recommend additionally:
Braindead (by Peter Jackson) - extremely gory;
Ticks (1993 - arachnophobia inducing);
Dracula (F.F. Coppola - 1992);
Return of the Living Dead (1985 - superb horror-zombie comedy);
Jacob's Ladder (Adrian Lyne);
Split Second (1992 - British horror with Rutger Hauer);
Hollow Man (2000);
9th Gate (1999);
The Brood (1979);
Silence of the Lambs (technically not a horror);
Necronomicon (1993);
