bought the TR606 and the TB303 when they came out, but found that the TR606 was too limited, so i changed it for a TR808, still have both originals to this day, great stuff

Haha! When I was 13 I used to put my 606 through a Roland mixer with the gain turned right up - it sounded just like that!

WOW!!! I didn't see this coming.... This would be a great addition to my boutique collection; I currently own TR-08, TR-09, TB-03 and older Roland hardware such as TR-505, TR-626, TR-707, TR-727 and a ton of other hardware... With all this other new hardware coming out I'm going to need HEELLPPP.... I CAN'T STOP BUYING HAREWARE!!!!

I still have my original 606 but this upgrade 👍👍👍☝ Wow!
You can layer the hi or lo tom or both with the snare to beef it up in different ways

I remember buying the original TR606 Drumatix and a TB303 Bass line in the 80s and thinking they was crap, didn't sound like real drums or Bass lol... hindsight is a wonderful thing :-) I now have a 606 on my TR8 though, along with 808, 909, 7X7.
