You know it's something to think about. It's that Robby here is barely better than he was in season 2 finale. Since then he's not trained at all. He's just become a bit more aggressive but everything he used here was Miyagi do. It really goes to show just how ahead of everybody him and Miguel were in season 2.

Don’t get why Miguel and Hawk get hyped up about their combat, yet no one talks about just how good of a fighter Robby is. Dude took down an entire dojo of students only using miyagi do and a bit more aggression. Plus he hadn’t trained in months.

You know if Miguel wasn’t injured then he would be absolute beast and can easily destroy the whole cobra Kai by himself too. Miguel just got nerf but the difference is that Miguel will be using offense to fight them. We see in Cobra Kai S5 the final fight Miguel was a beast and no one landed a hit on him. With that been said if Miguel wasn’t injured from falling off the balcony then he would basically be better than Robby in every season except Season 1. In S1, Robby was truly the better fighter than Miguel, be able to do the two legged kick that even Daniel couldn’t perform it. Miguel only won because he fought dirty and exploited his weaknesses. But overall without that kick from Robby that kick Miguel off the balcony then that would change everything in the series

Wouldve been stupid as hell to let Robby walk out. Miyagi fang would’ve swept cobra Kai in the tournament if Robby had left the cobra Kai dojo. Without Robby there’s no Kenny joining, no miyagi do move stealing, no top tier fighter for the boys. Probably would been a miyagi do vs eagle fang face off in the final without Robby sweeping through the boys division and Miguel would still ditch in the semi finals. Hawk would’ve still had his Mohawk without kenny being there to pick on and robby in cobra Kai to mentor him. Would’ve been hawk and Demetri most likely. Cobra Kai would’ve died without Robby most likely. Cobra Kai needed a strong male fighter to secure points on the boys side. Kyler, Edwin, big red, and dieter would’ve been violated by Miguel and hawk. Robby spared them the punishment and embarrassment by being there.
