Yet, the demand letter can also be used to demand wages owed by an employer that failed to meet state minimum wage or overtime pay requirements. This letter is meant to act as a last attempt to collect unpaid wages. No compliance can legally cause the employer to be in violation of state labor laws.

An Unpaid Wages Demand Letter is crucial to use when demanding money owed by an employer to its employee, since it:
- Acts as a final notice for the employer to pay or face legal action;
- Records the demand for payment in case of any legal disputes;
- Documents the amount currently owed;
- Sets a due date for the employer to pay the full amount owed; and
- Can notify the employer that it is unlawful to withhold wages depending on state law

Unpaid wages being a violation of rights breaching employment contract and rendering the employment contract voidable is also considered forced labor which violates the rights of the individual whom expects monetary compensation for services rendered or expected labor, including mental energy exerted;

US Department Of Labor Hours and Wages file claimed with them it is free and anonymous. It takes about 6 months to get your money once investigation starts. An inspector will go through all the companies payroll records. It's a simple phone call.

So if you work hard but are not good at writing a formal complaint, these rich people get away with stealing from there staff that are on minimum wage.
There should never be unpaid wages.

Question: what if the employee was not paid correctly? Then to top it off, the Human Resource manager instructed me to reach out to ADP. Then ADP states to reach out to former Hr. Department. I have Emails with this information
