Phew! I think this is the longest I've worked on a single video. Not because of making it long or high quality, but the fact that it was filmed a couple of years ago on my mobile phone and I was unable to compile a video of such a size on it. That was until I bought some software on my PC. After doing so, I discovered I had no way of doing a voiceover on the computer (the microphone port must be faulty) so I was back to using my phone to record voiceover files, that I had to go back and forth and cause myself a right headache with editing. Honestly, it was harder to get the timing right on the video than this car! By this time, I'd already forgotten most of the technical details of what I was trying to demonstrate, but I got there in the end and hope it comes across okay. Please feel free to ask questions in the comment section.

In this video, I'm changing the cambelt on this 2004 Honda Civic with the 1.7 Isuzu based 4EE2 turbo diesel engine. It's also used in many Vauxhall applications and you should be able to do the same by using this video as a guide. If you did find it helpful, please like the video, be super awesome by subscribing or even more so, if I saved you £400 in garage bills, I also have a tip jar on PayPal--sadly YouTube rejected my application for monitisation/membership.

Tip for anyone watching this -when you tighten the tensioner you need to hold the tensioner still with a hex key, known issue on these being overtightened as the tensioner moves when tightening the bolt, causing bearing or belt failure, dayco / gates etc have field bulletins on this. Even only a couple or so degrees movement (hardly anything) raises the load on the belt exponentially, from around 20kg to over 60kg

Recently changed on my Civic. The garage used an INA set. Now, I hear a whinning noise. :( Maybe it's over -tightened. Some guys from forums say thats the feature of INA. :(

Was it a Dayco belt set? NTN rollers are tasty goods. :D
