Apparently they were aware of each other. The Chinese called the Roman Empire the "Other China"

China and Roman Empire were both extremely powerful. I want to remember that China in a battle mobilized 340k soldiers in one battle...

A Chinese explorer (or trader Idk) named Rome as "Daqin" which translates to "great Qin"

That should pretty much clear it. Would be really, really interesting if the 2 greatest empires of both west and east respectively met though, sadly, the Parthian Empire is blocking it.

Ancient China has a strong bond of 1 nation unity and their strong cultural influence that made their civilization last longer for a thousands of years, meanwhile the Romans while having a terrifying war machine they did not have such strong loyalty as ancient Chinese dynasties has

I bet the Persian beauracracy could go blow for blow with Han China in terms of capacity and probably was more diverse. Also they were earlier. Even Alexander the Great kept Persian administration methods.

Like I’ve always said.
Infantry Vs Infantry? Rome wins.
Economic vs Economic? China wins.

Rome had better public facilities such as public toilets and bathrooms, but to be fair, culturally the Chinese considered these very private matters and would rather do it in their own privacy at home even if there are public ones.

Han had much better range weapons in general, Han crossbow which was mass produced and standardised can penetrate Roman shields, and Han period Chinese also retained the martial traditions of the warring states period, most Han civilian men would own a sword so there was also a large pool of qualitied men to draw from at war. But in general Rome was more militarised, yet I don’t think Rome would have a clear advantage simply because their tactics such as the tight shield formations and heavily relying on melee had put them in many struggles and defeats against enemies with better range capabilities, and Han had the best range weapons at the time.

Han metallurgy would also surpass that of the Romans by having more advanced smithing techniques such as cast iron which would not be used in Europe until another thousand years. Roman naturalist Gaius Plinius Caecilius Secundus stated in his book of natural history that though there are many types of iron, non could match China’s in quality.

On the other hand, though Han had a more centralised government and is a monarchy some Han Confucian historians were impressed by Rome’s democratic system as to them it somewhat resembled the system of demise 禅让 in early Chinese tribal history when tribes would elect the leader of their confederacy on the bases of merit (very common in all tribal unions in other parts of the world as well).

China lol. It's close and I'm a westerner but china is the greatest civilization of all time. They never "fell" as the Roman's did technically and they beat the xxnonui. Or however u spell it which spilt in Two and the western part went to Europe and basically made Rome collapse
