To anyone comparing this to anything... don't. The 5th wave is a fantastically written book, that unlike other popular franchises, deserves the recognition-- excluding the hunger games, despite the mediocre writing. Sure hollywood takes books like these and loves to make them into the "next big thing", but this one in particular is amazing. If you haven't read the book-- then do. Then, feel free to judge all you want, but I doubt you'd really want to. (It's that good😌)

This as a whole is better than the first trailer. Well excluding the beginning of the first trailer. This trailer did have things in it that annoyed me. I hated the voice over and it made me cringe. That being said, I'm still iffy on this movie. I don't like the relationship between the girl and the blue eyed guy. It seems forced. Also, everyone but Chloe seems not to get dirty whatsoever.

I love Chloe and that Jurassic World kid has a lot of potential. I will definitely watch this movie.

it's not dystopia at all, it may seem so, but in fact it's about teens finding their way and finding out what their capable of. The book makes you think critically and whether the movie does that or not I'm not sure yet. the emotions behind this are amazingly done and it's not all in one perspective, it's done in many different perspectives of many different characters and it's hard to say whether the movie is done so, but hopefully the movie does the book some justice, because it isn't all about teen girls sweating, it's about the way you think and feel and what you may and may not be capable of doing.

To everyone saying this movie is going to suck READ THE BOOK. I legit finished it in a day and a half flat. Rick knows what he was doing while writing the story and even the Infinite Sea was truly magnificent. Hopefully the directors stayed true to the plot. It's nothing like the hunger games, nothing like it at all, the Others are terrifying, President Snow is a child compared to their master plan.
