Doreen Virtue's Testimony From New Age To Jesus

Doreen Virtue, one of the most prominent figures in the New Age movement, gave her life to Jesus recently after an experience of the Lord. Her life has since took a complete 180 degree turn away from 50 years of New Thought and over 20 years as a New Age teacher to being sold out for Jesus.

As a former advocate of things like angel cards, tarot cards, metaphysics, meditation, and channeling, and as a teacher of these things for many years, Doreen Virtue as a born again Christian has one of the most dramatic Christian Testimonies out there.

This is a life stream of her story and events that have taken place in her life since her conversion, including her breaking totally away from HayHouse and leading her audience through the One Year Bible study.

I was raised on the Bible, and through my teen years of taking LSD and a few other things, this knowledge never left me. At age 26 I was told by doctors that our 5th son was going to die. Immediately I prayed for him and the doctors to the surprise of my wife. In less than 1 hr, the doctors changed their view. He was discharged 8 hrs after this at 5 am with a complete recovery of an illness that they could not find. Nobody id released from hospital at that time of the day. When I got home, I fell on my knees, and have remained there ever since. We have 9 son's and 3 daughters, all of who love Jesus. We have 12 grandchildren, that also love Jesus. I too was in the New Age...witchcraft, 3rd level Reiki Master, drumming and shamanism...and I used your Angel cards. I was raised in the Southern Baptist Church and had a lot of scripture in me. May 11, 2014 I was talking to my younger sister, a Christian, about sending her a distance healing and everything I was saying just resonated as a lie. She never said a word about Jesus, didn't say anything....but I knew she was a Christian. I came under conviction and by the 15th I could feel the flames of hell and realized I was lost, lost, lost. All those scriptures I had memorized as a child came back....the Holy Spirit convicted me. I repented, surrendered and Jesus is Lord of my life. I also confessed to my sister. She and I have a beautiful relationship today. I was so blessed to discover that you are now a sister in Christ. I love you and will keep you in prayer.

Thank you Steven and Doreen. From a non-practicing Jew to 20 years as a New Ager to a follower, believer and lover of Christ I am truly blessed to have found the way. I actually feel and am more Jewish now than ever before! Like you both said, in the New Age there was endless seeking and a constant boosting of the self image and all I can say is that seeking and boosting wore me out and took me down into depression. It was exhausting. Now there is new life, new energy and a depression that the New Age philosophy and practice couldn't handle, Jesus dealt with within a matter of days. I'm home.

I also used to be involved in the New Age movement, being a certified Reiki practitioner, crystals, chakras, psychic mediumship, angel cards and paranormal research. GOD radically pulled me out after 2 years and I rededicated my life to Christ (was a baby Christian that backslid). It's been 10 years and I've never looked back. I dabbled in the New age for many years but found tarot cards scary too, so was drawn to Doreen's Archangel Cards. When I found out she became a Christian lots of red flag went off and I eventually threw all my decks away and recommitted my life back to God. Praise Jesus he opened my eyes!

Doreen's story is very similar to mine. I started out as a Christian but as soon as I started studying for a degree in psychology I ended up turning to New Age for answers on spirituality. I was seeing dead friends and relatives in dreams as well and in the past they told me to study Nostradamus and metaphysics... It wasnt long until I became born again and realized those were evil spirits/fallen angels sent to divert God's plans for my life and the calling that is on it. I am also very sensitive to sound, light, feelings and have a strong intuition/discernment, but it took me a whole to learn the difference between the fruits and gifts of the holy spirit, and the counterfeit "gifts" sent by the enemy. I'm so blessed by her testimony. I actually use to watch her when she would do angel card readings and messages from the angels and it opened so many wrong doors in my life that ONLY Jesus Christ could shut and open the right ones. Praise God for her testimony and transformation!

I remember sitting at my kitchen counter, tearing up Doreen's angel cards, with their beautiful art work and all, praying for forgiveness and for Doreen. My sister introduced me to her and I tried to hear my "angels" and I was never able to (thank God almighty for that blessing)
For some reason I didn't unsubscribe from her channel and when she posted her testimony I cried tears of joy and thankfulness that she was saved through Jesus's mercy. My sister is still talking to her "angels" and has a very new age faith of oneness and angels are messengers to do our bidding etc etc and eventhough I sent her Doreen's testimony she still hasn't made the connection. Pray she is saved, her eyes are opened and she repents as our sister Doreen has, praise Jesus !

My mom used to read cards and was very accurate. One day, she had just finished a reading and put the cards away in a cupboard. My puppy looked at the cupboard where the cards were and started growling and barking. That should tell you all.

I used to have Doreens tarot cards, lots of her publishings, I was so into new one day the Holy Spirit just touched me, I cried during 3 days straight, i heard His voice and I burned everything... I think Doreen has prayed for people like me who had her material... I was disgusted of my own self doing yoga, shamanism and all that... I studied under Doreen for several years. I am certified an Angel reader lol. It was the closest thing to God ans Angels and I struggle with what Doreen has...seeing spirits and ancesters. I am Master Reikki certified and grew up Buddhist. But I never really felt connected to any of the new age because no matter how hard I tried I felt I was dishoring God. This morning I didnt go to church cause I am sick and actually told my husband (as he is heading to church) that I believe in God but not sure if I believe Jesus IS God. Well he went and O stayed home and decided to watch youtube and rest. Somehow I not only landed here but am.watching my "teacher" Doreen and her testimony. This is a God thing and I get they message.
