Wanted to say something real quick! You mentioned the regional trees, plus Fontaine’s fountain and Liyue’s chasm-torch thingy (i dont like the chasm very much ;-;). There is also the Amrita pool in the desert! Maxing it out gives 600 primogems, and in my own opinion, its not so hard as long as you use tutorials and the interactive map. There are a “few” world quests to finish, but all you have to do to unlock the pool is get sorush, then talk to that other elder pari nearby the tree and hole in the sky. Then finish the pale fire quest by helping all the pari in the fravashi trees, collect plumes of purifying light around that one area in the desert, then give it all to the amrita pool, and you should have 600 primogems instantly! Also keep in mind that once you turn in a certain amount of the plumes, the map will “mark out the remaining plumes” for you. You’ll have to search around a certain area that it marks out, but once you get close enough, the map will show where it is. Hope this helps!

exploring in fontaine is an awesome way to get primogens, mostly because the map is so massively big. each discovery gives you one primogem, so when you're exploring underwater you're likely to find many new things, and will thus give you many primogems.

all common chests that you have to fight for give 2 primos
random common chests you find randomly without having to fight give you 0
exquisite chests in mondstadt will most likely give 2 primos, if you're lucky you might get 5.
exquisite chests in liyue usually give 2 primos, if you're lucky you might get 5.
exquisite chests in inazuma has some chests that give 5, and some that give 2. (i haven't explored enough to find out yet)
exquisite chests in sumeru usually give 5 primos, sometimes it will only give you 2.
exquisite chests in fontaine will most likely give you 5 primos, sometimes it will only give you 2.

Honestly even with all these methods I don't see how a completely f2p player could successfully get a banner 5 star guaranteed more than like once every4 banners, I feel like getting a welkin is basically necessary if you want characters more than that and screw getting weapons
