Metroid: Other M - Maxximum Edition - Episode 1 - [No Commentary]

The Maxximum Edition is a mod for Other M, it changes things such as music, textures and even reworks the story in some ways.

This series exists to show those who are curious or interested in the mod and want to get it, while also showing the developers of the mod any potential bugs that could be fixed, because there are some. There is also no commentary, largely due to me being heavily sick right now, it's affected my voice harshly, but it also allows you to take in more details and hear the audio clearly.

This was also played on Dolphin, I cannot recommend enough using this, as it enhances the gameplay exponentially thanks to the ability to customise your controls, not to mention the game overall looks nice in HD, apart from some texture work in some places.

i love that the fusion music plays when you talk with adam the second time, i never realized how nostalgic that theme is for me

Where was this when the game was in development?! That makes SOOO much more sense to be able to use Missiles on the fly and the reason for the gradual return of her equipment! It makes complete sense why it wasn't in Fusion, the Hyper Beam, while it was a massive increase in power overloaded and fries all but the most critical components of the suit. And the gradual authorization over time to let the suit repair itself is a good explanation that's not out of place.

I appreciate that instead of Samus completely allowing Adam to make decisions for her. she visibly doesn't like it but does it for the crew anyways

This mod shows a lot of promise. There is still work that could be done but overall I like what the mod i attempting to do. Removing Samus' narration and the subtitles will make a lot of this game's moments more suspenseful and tolerable.

TBH I wanna play a version of this mod that dosen't touch the music (though the fusion music for the in-game cutscene with Adam was a nice touch). Also the subtitles and dialoge are all over the place in this mod.

The custom voice acting could use some work. The subtitles also need to be edited, and the cuts in the cinematics are a little jarring.

Okay, here's what I would do to help fully legitimize not using your powers.
1. Varia and Gravity suits are in repair and the systems will be online as you go (which is what i think theyre going for)
2. Have her whole suit be fried and she's given a new Protosense Suit, allowing her full capabilites of her Chozo upbringing and improved HUD for added precision and battle senses. The systems continue to improve. Once weapon and armor data is complete, they send it to you wirelessly and you get your abilities that way.


Also, can we have a wall jump like in Zero Mission, okay thanks
